I live in America and I wanted to post the Monkey of the Week!

This Monkey is always very friendly and always talks to people!  There is not one time that I log in and don't see this monkey not talking!

His name is ......................... PHILLIES!

Phillies is always very nice he works really hard and is always on!

Phillies is 1st in recyling too!

MiniMonos Recycle -- top 3

Hey Monkeys, Demo here!

I'm just telling you that this game is hard, fun, and full of excitment!

When you see 3 players (Phillies, Morty, Hi) they are the top 3 and wayyyy ahead of the charts. I'm in the top 5 but they're like 5000 recycle points ahead!

PERcY's Pick up a Piece of Trash Day -- Friday!

Hey monkeys,

I just wanted to remind you that every Friday is PERcY's Pick up a Piece of Trash Day! Thats right, if you're walking home from school, or riding your bike to your friend's house and see a piece of trash laying on the ground, Please pick it up and put it in the trash bin. But if it's plastic, be sure to recycle it! :)

Every little bit counts to help keep our environment clean! Also, once you have picked up a piece of trash, leave a comment on this post and let us know you have done it! We would love to see how many people have helped the environment!

Marco at the landing beach

Hey everyone it's TyTy, I am from North America and I have a blog called MiniMonosmm.tk.

You all probably know the monkey Marco that shows up on the login screen and the sandcastle icon on the map.

He is named after the famous explorer Marco Polo, who travelled the Silk Road over Asia, Africa, and Europe in the 1200's. 

Soon at MiniMonos Marco will be able to talk to you! Yes it's true, soon you can ask him questions and he should be able to answer them.  Say if you ask him: "How do you become a Mini Mod?" He would answer that no problem at all!

New t-shirt change on MiniMonos!

Hi monkeys! I am CpDarkrai and I am a mogger this week! My site is http://minimonosfun.blogspot.com and I love posting. Minimonos is my favorite site because it helps the environment and encourages us to keep our world clean!

Anyway this week's update is you can now change your shirt color! If you're a Top Banana, Top Banana Gold or Mini Mod you can change your shirt color. To do this you need to complete your banana card or Mini Mod card which is on your player card when you click yourself.

To change your shirt color you need to go in the Colorme store which is above the room you start in.

Next you click on the bamboo curtains and click yes.

Then click on the lever on the machine with the buttons on it.  And make sure the lever goes down.

Now you can choose what color you want for your Top Banana or Mini Mod t-shirt by clicking on the colored buttons.

REMEMBER you must have at least 75 banana chips to buy a new shirt color by playing games on the island.

Top Banana monkeys can have a green or white t-shirt. If you want to get the other colors you can become a Gold member for only $21.00 US for 6 months. If you become a Gold member you even get a gold icon next to your name! To go gold, click yourself and then click 'Go Gold!' on the left hand side of your player card.

And I should show your monkey wearing a shirt!

The Secrets of Babbage

Hi readers my name is BetaMonkey, I live in Europe and my blog is http://minimonogang.blogspot.com

Today I will be posting about Babbage! I will call it 'The Secrets Of Babbage'.

Babbage is the hard working baboon that works for Traderz.

MiniMonos got the name Babbage from 'Charles Babbage' a famous inventor.  People knew him as "a Father Of Computing" because he invented the first computer. He was a mathematical genius as well, born in 1791.  Parts of his work are still in the London Museum but he didn't finish it.

In 1991 some people made a perfect difference engine (like an early computer) from Babbage's original plans, written nearly 200 years ago. This finished engine means that Babbage's machine would actually have worked way back then!  In 2000, the Science Museum built the printer Babbage had designed for the difference engine.  That worked too! 

Babbage the baboon is always working hard and bringing new items to his store, Traderz.  That's why it's under construction.

Thanks for the GREAT post Demo. I really like this game. Once you have mastered the conveyor at full speed you can play for a loooooooooong time. I average 500 per game. So your total goes up real fast. Good Luck playing everybody!!!

I pick up many trashes today like I always do everyday. I just love picking paper and throw them in the trash can. hahaha

I picked up 2 pieces of trash lying in the street this week. I also helped my uncle clean out a parking lot drain at his work. All the water that drains in the parking lot or street goes to your near-by creeks. Which go to your nearest River, Bay, or Ocean. So keep it clean!

And Morty, that's so awesome that you helped to clean out that drain with your uncle! Yep, you're right -- some really bad stuff can go down a stormwater drain and endanger plants and animals in rivers and oceans.

On Friday I walked home from work and picked up quite a few pieces of trash and put it in the bin. Imagine if heaps of people did just a little bit like we just have -- what a difference it would make!

I have promised my son (eco) that we will go to a beach to pick up trash next Friday! He has always wanted to do that. I'll bring my camera and show you some pictures of it! :-)
